(TAA) Technically Advanced Aircraft Training Program
 

IFR Flight Training School™ uses three key resources to administer its TAA Training Program: 1. TAA Qualified Instructors  2. TAA Equipped Aircraft.  3. TAA Flight Simulation Device.

TAA Qualified Instructors

IFR Flight Training School™ TAA Instructors have exceptional experience flying TAA type aircraft. Their qualifications include experience serving as Military, Airline, Corporate and Flight Training Pilots and Instructors.


TAA Equipped Aircraft

IFR Flight Training School™ conducts TAA Training in client owned aircraft as well as its school provided aircraft a Diamond DA40XL and a Mooney M20J.

 

Our Diamond DA40XL is equipped with a complete Garmin G1000 Avionics Suite with the following equipment:

Garmin 1000 PFD and MFD with Current IFR Database
Avidyne TAS 600 Active Traffic System
Garmin 4 Place Built in Intercom
Garmin GDU1040, 10 Inch Multi Function Display (MFD), Moving map,

TAA FLIGHT SIMULATION

TAA flight procedures are best developed and mastered using our ELITE Flight Simulation equipment in conjunction with actual aircraft training.

Our ELITE Flight Simulator is approved by the FAA as a Basic ATD (Aviation Training Device). The ELITE Basic ATD is approved for logging hours toward Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot and Instrument Rating Certification. Additionally, the ELITE Basic ATD is approved for the logging of the Six Approaches for meeting the FAA IFR Recency of Experience requirement.

Professional use of our ELITE Flight Simulator enables our Instructors to equip Pilots and Students with exceptional TAA flying skills in the following areas of TAA Aircraft operations:
