Flight Instructor Positions

IFR Flight Training School (IFR) is accepting resumes for Flight Instructor positions.  IFR conducts flight, ground and simulator (ELITE PC based) training for all airplane training programs Student Pilot through Airline Transport Pilot including Light-Sport aircraft training.  We train in client owned and leased aircraft.  We train locally in the Austin , Texas metropolitan area as well as client based locations throughout the United States .  IFR’s home base is located at the Georgetown Municipal Airport just north of Austin, Texas .

Since 1989, IFR has been recognized as a leading pilot training company.  In the 1990’s, IFR received recognition from Rod Machado as “one of aviations top instructors staffs”.  IFR is qualified to conduct “approved training” for several aircraft insurance companies.  Also in the 1990’s, IFR was awarded training programs for The State of Texas and the Commander Aircraft Company.   IFR’s training programs have been characterized as “high end, quality and comprehensive – top pilots trained by top instructors”. 

IFR conducts its training using Jeppesen 141 syllabus material.  IFR’s training philosophy calls for training to optimum proficiency versus minimum standards in the interest of safety.  Since its inception, IFR has been recognized as having primarily senior instructors with substantial military and professional flying backgrounds who subsequently enjoy with committed and dedicated interest passing on their exceptional flying skills to aspiring new aviators.  Less experienced instructors training at IFR enjoy the benefit of working with their new professional credentials productively and comfortably while receiving the support and encouragement of the IFR senior instructor staff.
